Debra Massaro

Debra Massaro has been practicing Dental Hygiene in our Great Neck office for over 26 years. She is responsible for the supervision of our comprehensive Hygiene Department. Debra received her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Society from SUNY Old Westbury with Honors.

Debra was a Staff Hygienist at Long Island Jewish Hospital in the Department of Dental Medicine for 9 years. In addition to providing dental hygiene, she also assisted in all areas of dentistry, including pathology and oral surgery. At LIJ, she served as the Clinic Coordinator where her responsibilities included the supervision of all the Assistants and Hygienists.

Her passion for oral hygiene and dental care is displayed every day through her interaction with her patients and colleagues.

When Debra is not working, she enjoys practicing both Yoga & Meditation and has completed 150 hours of teacher training in yoga. She is a gentle and thorough hygienist, and a perfect match for a patient who is anxious or sensitive. Debra also enjoys spending quality time with her family.
